    C-Quip brings engineering performance and considered design together. Equipment must meet its technical requirements while fitting the space, finish and character of its surroundings.

    We work closely with clients to adapt established products or develop bespoke equipment around a project's requirements. Depending on the product, customisation can include colour matching and yacht branding, with project-specific engineering where required.

    Paul Hackett establishes C-Quip in Auckland to develop carbon fibre equipment for the marine industry.

    2002

    C-Quip International receives its first $1 million contract with Sensation Yachts.

    2005

    C-Quip delivers the world's first Lloyd's certified Rescue Boat Crane.

    2009

    Advanced Aerospace is established to deliver Boeing Business Jet interiors.

    2010

    The company delivers its first Air New Zealand Business Class interior components.

    2011

    Work begins on Compotool as the next generation of master model materials.

    2012

    C-Quip begins its Continuous Improvement journey and develops the foundations of the FOCUS system.

    2014

    C-Quip delivers the world's first Lloyd's certified A60 fire-rated carbon doors to White Pearl.

    2015

    Advanced Aerospace refurbishes seven Boeing 777-200 interiors for Air New Zealand.

    2017

    Advanced Aerospace receives AS9100 Aerospace Accreditation.

    2018

    The company delivers its first full carbon fibre airframe to Kittyhawk.

    2022

    Advanced Aerospace completes the build of eVTOL Plane 23 for Kittyhawk.

    2023

    C-Quip designs, builds and tests a rocket engine in-house.

    2023

    C-Quip designs, builds and tests a carbon fibre liquid oxygen tank in-house.

    2025

    Established manufacturing facility in Clark, Philippines.

    After recognising the potential for carbon fibre to transform equipment used throughout the marine industry, Paul founded C-Quip in 2000.

    Under his leadership, C-Quip has grown from a specialist marine engineering company into a broader advanced composites group spanning marine, aerospace and emerging high-performance applications.

    Following the success of C-Quip, Paul established Advanced Aerospace, bringing specialist aeronautical composite capability into the wider C-Quip group.

    Rowan brings extensive experience across the marine industry, international business and the Blue Economy.

    Alongside his work with C-Quip, Rowan is Co-Founder of Aotearoa Ocean Racing and has worked with government and leading organisations across the global marine sector.

    His experience connecting New Zealand marine innovation with international markets supports C-Quip's continued growth and expansion, bringing a strong commercial and industry perspective to the company's next chapter.

    European Sales Manager

    Based in the Netherlands, Floris brings experience in custom carbon fibre superyacht equipment, commercial leadership and marine project management. His background includes six years as a managing director within the sector, alongside roles in yacht equipment and custom tender sales.

    At C-Quip, he works with clients, shipyards, designers and industry partners to understand their project requirements and explore suitable equipment solutions with our team.

    Away from work, Floris is a passionate competitive sailor, racing in both the Star Class and ILCA. Sailing and life on the water have always been an important part of his life. He also enjoys spending time with his family and, whenever possible, you'll find him on or around the water.
