C-Quip welcomes Floris van Ede

We're pleased to welcome Floris van Ede to C-Quip's sales team, bringing extensive experience in custom carbon fibre superyacht equipment, commercial leadership and marine project management.

Floris has spent many years working within the superyacht industry, including six years as Managing Director of a specialist custom carbon fibre equipment company. His background spans commercial leadership, sales, project management and the delivery of custom equipment for some of the world's leading superyacht projects.

Having worked across both the commercial and project sides of the industry, Floris brings a practical understanding of the requirements behind individual yacht projects. His experience allows him to look beyond the equipment itself and understand how it needs to integrate with the yacht, its design and its intended use.

Based in the Netherlands, Floris will strengthen C-Quip's presence in Europe and provide a local point of contact for clients, shipyards, designers and industry partners. Working closely with C-Quip's design and manufacturing team in New Zealand, he will support marine equipment enquiries, new project opportunities and the development of custom solutions.

Outside work, sailing has always played an important role in Floris' life. He is an active competitive sailor and currently races in the Star Class and ILCA. His involvement in the sport gives him a strong personal connection to the marine world, both on and off the water.

When he is not working or sailing, he enjoys spending time with his family and being on or around the water.

His presence in Europe brings C-Quip closer to the people specifying, building and using our equipment, while providing a direct connection to the technical expertise and manufacturing capabilities of our team in New Zealand.
