Daniel joined C-Quip back in 2012 and originally ran our service facility in Antibes before becoming involved in the wider business. He is currently responsible for all aspects of our sales and service operations in Europe, with the backup of the rest of our sales team and the New Zealand factory and design department. With a masters degree in engineering, Daniel was originally on a very different career managing a specialist department within a worldwide construction company, before running away to sea. Having been a keen sailor in his leisure time, the call of the ocean took over (or an early mid-life crisis) and a total career change followed. Daniel and his girlfriend (now wife) found themselves running a luxury charter catamaran, based in Croatia, for a number of years prior to joining C-Quip. Being very hands on and with an engineering background was ideal grounding as C-Quip's Service Manager looking after our clients in the Mediterranean. Being in constant contact with our Superyacht Clients and shipyards, it was only natural that Daniel developed into the sales role that he holds today. With an eye for detail and a good insight into the needs and expectations of the Superyacht industry, Daniel is key to developing and maintaining relationships with our clients.
“No two days are the same, and it’s great to get out there and visit our clients on-board the yachts. I often get the opportunity to work closely with Captains and owners reps to develop our products into custom solutions” says Daniel, when questioned about what he enjoys most about his role. “Furthermore C-Quip has a great reputation for quality and elegant design within the industry and with our in-house design team, this gives us the opportunities to become involved in some very exciting projects”.
Daniel is currently based in the UK and covers Europe, Asia and Africa as a first point of contact for all of our client’s needs, and will follow them through to conclusion be it sales, after sales service or warranty enquiries.
Daniel will be visiting various key yachting destinations along the southern coast of France between the 7th and 9th of June.
